Peter Steffensen
Peter Buur Steffensen (born 4 December 1979) is a retired Danish badminton player. Career Steffensen was born and raised in a town in western Jutland near Herning. He has lived in Copenhagen since 2001 and has a professional academic background in Pedagogy. As a player, Peter was playing professionally from 2001 to 2009 on the Danish National Badminton Team, where he played doubles alongside Jonas Rasmussen, Mathias Boe and Thomas Laybourn winning several international titles in Europe in Sweden, Greece and the Netherlands. He won two Danish youth titles in 2001, including the Croatia International. In 2002 he won at the Iceland International and the 2003 Dutch International. In 2005 he represented Denmark at the IBF World Championships in the United States. In 2006 he was successful at the International in Italy, Bulgaria and Finland, managing to position itself as number 10 in the world. In 2008 he won at the Swedish International in Stockholm. Julie Houmann (born 22 November 1979) is a Danish badminton player and also plays for the Skovshoved Badminton originally comes from Bornholm. Her best achievements is to win the silver medal at the 2012 European Championships, and won the 2012 Bitburger Open. Mathias Boe
Mathias Boe (born 11 July 1980) is a badminton player from Denmark. He was the gold medalist at the 2015 European Games, two time European champions winning in 2012 and 2017, and the silver medalist at the 2012 Summer Olympics. He joined the Denmark winning team at the 2016 Thomas Cup in Kunshan, China. Career He won the silver medal at the 2006 European Championships in men's doubles with Carsten Mogensen. In 2010, Mogensen and Boe won the titles at the Denmark and French Opens and also the Superseries Final held in Taipei. One year later Mogensen and Boe won the All England Open. With Mogensen, he won the silver medal in the men's doubles at the 2012 Olympics. Dennis Jensen (badminton)
Dennis Geoffrey Jensen (born 28 February 1962) is an Australian former politician. He was elected to the House of Representatives at the 2004 federal election, winning the Division of Tangney for the Liberal Party. Jensen lost Liberal preselection for the 2016 federal election, and subsequently resigned from the party to stand as an independent. In August 2017 he joined the fledgling Australian Conservatives party. Jensen has a PhD in materials science from Monash University, and before entering politics worked as a CSIRO researcher. Zhang Yi (, born 16 May 1980) is a former Chinese badminton player. In 1997, he reached the final at the Asian Junior Championships in the boys' doubles event partnered with Cai Yun, beating their compatriots Xia Xuanze and Chen Hong in the semifinals with the straight games, but they lost to Malaysian paired in the final.
