Peter Gibbons (born July 9, 1962) is a Canadian former stock car racing driver. He was the champion of the CASCAR Super Series in 1999 and 2000. Racing career Gibbons competed in 81 CASCAR Super Series events, with 17 wins, 40 Top-5, 59 Top-10 and 8 pole-positions and 2 championships (1999 and 2000). He also competed in 25 CASCAR East Series events and had 3 wins, 13 Top-5, 14 Top-10 and 5 pole-positions. He was the runner-up in the 2000 season. Gibbons competed in 4 CASCAR West Series events, with 2 Top-5 and 4 Top-10. He competed in two NASCAR Busch Series events and failed to qualify in other four races. He also attempted one NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series event but failed to qualify. He competed in 12 events of the NASCAR North Tour and in 25 events in NASCAR Canadian Tire Series. Stouffville () is the primary urban area within the town of Whitchurch-Stouffville in York Region, Ontario, Canada. The NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series is a pickup truck racing series owned and operated by the National Association for Stock Car Auto Racing, and is the only series in NASCAR to race production pickup truck based stock cars. Stock car racing events in the NASCAR Xfinity Series has been held at Darlington Raceway in Darlington, South Carolina since the series' inaugural season in 1982. Currently, the track holds two races in the spring (as companion to Rebel 400) named Mahindra ROXOR 200 and fall (as companion to Southern 500) named Sport Clips Haircuts VFW 200, both being in distance. Initially only one race was held, but starting in 1984 the track hosted two races per year until 2004 when the track lost its fall weekend date as a result of the realignments caused by the Ferko lawsuit. A realignment in 2015 moved the spring race to the pre-Ferko fall slot. The BellSouth Mobility 320 was a NASCAR Busch Series stock car race held at Nashville Speedway USA, in Nashville, Tennessee. Debuting as a 200 lap race of , it was originally held only during the 1984 season. The event returned the schedule in 1988, and again in 1989, after which it was removed a second time. The race returned to the Busch circuit yet again in 1995, this time the race distance being extended from 200 to 320 laps, now covering in distance. The race remained on the Busch Series schedule for the next six seasons, but was removed a third and final time following the 2000 season. The RAPTOR King of Tough 250 is a NASCAR Xfinity Series stock car race held at Atlanta Motor Speedway in Hampton, Georgia, a few miles south of Atlanta. This race had been Atlanta's lone Busch/Nationwide/Xfinity Series date until 2021 when a second race was added in July. The ToyotaCare 250 is a NASCAR Xfinity Series race that takes place at Richmond Raceway in Richmond, Virginia. The race was first held during the inaugural season for the Xfinity Series in 1982 as a 150-lap event. The race was removed from the schedule after 1984. It returned to the series starting in 1990 as a 200 lap race. It was expanded to 250 lap distance in 1994. In 2016, as part of an overhauling of the Richmond spring race weekend, including the new Dash4Cash format, the total of 210-laps and had two 35-lap heat races and a 140-lap feature.
