Pete Cannon
Peter Buchanan (a.k.a. Mr. Dick, a.k.a. Opal Block), known professionally as Pete Cannon, is a British jungle, house and hip hop music producer, DJ and vocalist, famous for producing on retro hardware such as Commodore Amiga, Akai S900 and Roland Juno-106 and software such as OctaMED. He was a member of the hip hop group Surreal Knowledge and the music production collective Tactical Thinking. He is originally from Blackpool, but now lives in London where he runs the record label N4 records. Pete has worked with Inja, Guilty Simpson, Dr Syntax, Sway, Stig of the Dump, Magestik Legend, Kyza, Foreign Beggars, Yogi, Sonny Jim, Deadline and Jim Raygun, Kid Genius, MC Shaun Traynor, Kris Psychotik Liberati, Snap, and D Strong, as well as producing two tracks on Rizzle Kicks' album Roaring 20s including the hit single Lost Generation. Byron Dwayne “Guilty” Simpson is an American rapper and songwriter from Detroit, Michigan whose recording career spans more than 20 years. He is signed to Stones Throw Records, and is known for being one of the late producer J Dilla’s favorite rappers. Simpson’s debut album, ''Ode to the Ghetto'', includes production from J Dilla, as well as from Madlib and Black Milk; all three have been frequent collaborators of his. High Focus Records is an independent British hip-hop record label founded by rapper Fliptrix in 2010, following the collapse of Low Life Records. History In 2008, Fliptrix was in the process of releasing his first album on Low Life Records the largest UK hip-hop label at the time. Unfortunately, the label collapsed later that year. As a result, Fliptrix turned to one of the only other hip-hop labels in the UK at that time, YNR. However the label's owner, Jehst, recommended he create his own label in order to get his album out as soon as possible. Rizzle Kicks are a British hip hop duo from Brighton, England, consisting of Jordan "Rizzle" Stephens (born 25 January 1992) and Harley "Sylvester" Alexander-Sule (born 1991). Foreign Beggars
Foreign Beggars were an English hip hop and dubstep group. Since their formation in 2002, the group's trajectory had seen them evolve from an underground hip hop group to an electronic crossover act. The group consisted of four artists individually known as Orifice Vulgatron (Pavan Mukhi, vocals), Metropolis Graham (Ebow Enyan Graham, vocals), DJ Nonames (James Miller, turntables), and Dag Nabbit (Dag Torgersbraten, producer). Derek Andrew Safo (born 5 September 1982), better known by his stage name Sway or Sway DaSafo, is a British rapper of Ghanaian descent. OctaMED
OctaMED is a popular music tracker for the Commodore Amiga, written by Teijo Kinnunen. The first version, 1.12, was released in 1989 under the name MED, which stands for Music EDitor. In April 1990, version 2.00 was released with MIDI support as the main improvement. In 1991 the first version with the name OctaMED was released, so-called as it could replay eight independent channels on the Amiga's four-channel sound chip.
