Petar Radaković
Petar Radaković (22 February 1937 – 1 November 1966) was a Yugoslav football player. He got 19 caps for Yugoslavia. He is famous for scoring the winning goal in the 1962 World Cup quarter-final win against Germany (1–0). He spent his whole career playing for NK Rijeka and is considered a legend of the club. He died from a heart attack during training, age 29. Club career Radaković started playing football in his hometown club NK Rijeka, then called NK Kvarner, in 1952. Radaković made his first appearance for the senior team on 13 August 1954 in a Cup match against NK Lokomotiva in which he scored a goal with the match ending 5:1. During his first five seasons Rijeka gained promotion from the Third to the First League. In 1959 played in Rijeka's first semi-final match. They lost 2:0 to Red Star Belgrade. Rijeka
Rijeka ( , , ; also known as Fiume hu, Fiume, it, Fiume ; local Chakavian: ''Reka''; german: Sankt Veit am Flaum; sl, Reka) is the principal seaport and the third-largest city in Croatia (after Zagreb and Split). The Morocco national football team,french: Équipe du Maroc de football nicknamed "the Barbary lion, Atlas Lions", represents Morocco in men's international Association football, football competitions. Trsat
Trsat ( it, Tersatto, la, Tarsatica) is part of the city of Rijeka, Croatia, with a historic castle or fortress in a strategic location and several historic churches, in one of which the Croatian noble Prince Vuk Krsto Frankopan is buried. Hrvatski nogometni klub Hajduk Split, commonly referred to as Hajduk Split () or simply Hajduk, is a Croatian professional football club based in Split, that competes in the Croatian First League, the top tier in Croatian football. Stadion Kantrida
Kantrida Stadium ( hr, Stadion Kantrida) is a football stadium in the Croatian city of Rijeka. It is named after the Kantrida neighbourhood in which it is located, in the western part of the city. It has served as the home of the HNK Rijeka football club for most years since 1946. The stadium has a distinctive appearance as it is situated between steep cliffs, a remnant of an old quarry, just north of the stadium and the shore of the Adriatic on its south side. 1964–65 Yugoslav First League
The 1964–65 Yugoslav First League had an odd number of teams because FK Vardar was allowed to compete in the top league despite getting relegated the previous season. The state and FA authorities made this decision due to the major earthquake (6.1 Richter scale) that hit Skopje on 26 July 1963. The thinking was that having a team in top-flight would boost the citizens' morale. After week 8 of fixtures on 13 September 1964, the league went on an almost two-month break in order to accommodate the October 1964 Yugoslav Olympic national team's participation at the 1964 Tokyo Olympics where the team consisting entirely of players from the Yugoslav First League made it out of its round-robin group but lost in the quarterfinals to West Germany.
