Pesquería (Nuevo León)
Pesquería is a Municipalities of Mexico, municipality of the state of Nuevo León in Mexico. It is located at 25º47´N 100º3´W and above sea level. It is part of the suburban area of the Monterrey Metropolitan area. Its distance to the Monterrey city downtown area is . To the east of Pesquería is Los Ramones, to the north is Doctor González, to the west are Apodaca and Monterrey International Airport, and to the south is Cadereyta Jiménez, Nuevo León, Cadereyta Jiménez, all of which are in Nuevo León. The river Pesquería River, Pesquería flows through the region. Pescorea
Pescorea is the name given to the immigrant community from the Korean Peninsula settled in the city of Pesquería, in the Mexican state of Nuevo León. The term is therefore an acronym for the name of this town and the peninsula. These Korean immigrants generally come from South Korea. Thousands of Korean immigrants who arrived in Mexico have established everything from homes to businesses in Pesquería and other cities in Nuevo León, giving rise to a greater influence of the "Pescorea" phenomenon, as well as a cultural exchange between both countries. Pequeño Seúl () is a Koreatown in Mexico City. Most of the city's Korean population lives in and around the Zona Rosa. According to the newspaper '' Reforma'', there are at least 5,000 Koreans living in Zona Rosa and about 6,000 total in Colonia Juárez, the larger officially recognized neighborhood of which the Zona Rosa is a part of. Many Korean residents do not speak Spanish and are relatively isolated from their Mexican neighbors.
