The Khyber Pass Railway ( ur, ) was one of several railway lines in Pakistan, operated and maintained by Pakistan Railways. The line begins at Peshawar City railway station, Peshawar City and ended at Landi Khana railway station, Landi Khana. The total length of this railway line is with 13 railway stations. Peshawar Circular Railway ( ur, ; ps, د پېښور حلقوي رېلوې; abbreviated PCR) or Greater Peshawar Mass-Transit Circular Rail Project is a proposed inter-regional commuter rail system for the Peshawar Valley or Greater Peshawar metropolitan area which aims to connect several industrial and commercial districts within Peshawar to the outlying suburbs and cities of Jamrud, Charsadda, Mardan, Nowshera, with future expansion to Swabi. PCR will primarily serve the Metropolitan Peshawar region, with operations extending to several other communities. Lahore Junction Railway Station (Urdu, pa, ) is the main railway station in Lahore, Pakistan. Construction commenced shortly after the 1857 War of Independence against British rule, and so was built in the style of a medieval castle with thick walls, turrets, and holes to direct gun and cannon fire for defence of the structure. It is located at the junction between Circular Road and Allama Iqbal Road and bounded on the north side by the old Grand Trunk Road.
