Antoine Pescatore
Constantin-Joseph-Antoine Pescatore, known as Antoine Pescatore, was born on 16 December 1787 in Luxembourg City, and died on 31 October 1858 in Sandweiler. He was a businessman and politician. From 1817 to 1820, he was mayor of the city of Luxembourg. From 1842 to 1848 he was a member of the Assembly of Estates, and from 1854 to 1856 was a member of the Chamber of Deputies.Nicolas Als, Robert L. Enrico Pescatore
Henry, known as Enrico Pescatore (i.e., the fisherman), was a Genoese adventurer, privateer and pirate active in the Mediterranean at the beginning of the thirteenth century. His real name is said to have been Erico or Arrigo di Castro or del Castello di Candia. The title Count of Malta was created by Tancred of Sicily some years before, for Margaritus of Brindisi and then was taken over by Emperor Henry VI, Tancred's opponent in Southern Italy and Sicily. Henry’s irregular acquisition of the title is attributed to his relationship as son-in-law to the previous holder, Guglielmo Grasso, Henry VI's and then Emperor Frederick II’s admiral, around 1204. From 1206, Pescatore took control of large parts of Crete. Fred Pescatore is a Manhattan-based author and internist who specializes in nutrition. He is best known as the author of the bestselling children's health book ''Feed Your Kids Well'' (1998) and ''The Hamptons Diet'' (2004). Jean-Pierre Pescatore
Jean-Pierre Pescatore (11 March 1793 – 9 December 1855) was a Luxembourgish-French businessman, banker, art collector, and philanthropist. Early life Born in Luxembourg City as the fourth child of Dominique Pescatore, a merchant in the city, and Marie-Madelaine Geschwind, he came from a family of colonial commodity traders, originally from Ticino, who had settled in Luxembourg in 1736. In 1811, at the age of 18, he enlisted in the army of Napoleon. Promoted to ''Maréchal des logis'' in 1813, after several campaigns he deserted and returned to Luxembourg in 1814. He then entered the world of business and took to selling tobacco like his father and grandfather. John Pescatore
John Anthony Pescatore (born February 2, 1964) is an American rower. He competed in the 1988 Seoul Olympic Games for the United States as stroke of the men's eight which placed third. He later competed at the 1992 Barcelona Olympic Games in the men's coxless pair. Then in 2000 he was placed top coach in America for coaching the coxless pair to silver at the 2000 Sydney Olympic Games. Pescatore was also in the 1987 eight that won the world championships in Copenhagen, Denmark. Pescatore graduated in 1986 from the University of Pennsylvania where, as captain, he stroked the men's varsity eight to victory at the Eastern Sprints.
