The Torneo Zonal, the second division of Peruvian football (soccer) in 1992, was played by 37 teams. the tournament winner, Ovación Sipesa was promoted to the 1992 Torneo Descentralizado's Hexagonal Final and 1993 Torneo Descentralizado. The tournament was played on a home-and-away round-robin basis. History In 1991, the Peruvian Football Federation decided to play the last of the Torneo Regionales of 44 teams to go back to have a tournament of 16 teams for the 1992 Torneo Descentralizado. Deportivo Wanka
Deportivo Wanka is a Peruvian football club, based in the city of Huancayo in the Peruvian Andes. It was founded in 1969 and is named after the Wankas people who formerly inhabited the area and after whom the city of Huancayo is named. The current Deportivo Wanka is merged with Deportivo Pesquero of Chimbote but its home city is still Huancayo. They play their home games at Estadio Huancayo. Their last First Division participation was in 2004. They protested against their relegation and were suspended from participating in any football tournament. Club Unión Huaral is a Peruvian football club, from the city of Huaral. It was founded in 1947 and plays in Peru's Segunda División. History The club was the 1976 and 1989 Peruvian Primera División champion. They were the first club to take the Peruvian title out of the traditional strongholds of Lima and Callao provinces. Coronel Bolognesi Fútbol Club is a Peruvian football club located in the city of Tacna. Originally founded on 18 October 1929, It was named after Francisco Bolognesi. Years later, a second branch of the club called Club Sport Bolito, was founded on 27 May 1998. Asociación Deportiva Tarma, commonly referred as ADT, is a Peruvian association football club, playing in the city of Tarma, Junín. The club was founded in 1929, and currently play in Liga 1, which is the first division of the Peruvian league.
