Peru National Rugby League Team
The Peru national rugby league team ( es, Rugby league equipo nacional de Peru), nicknamed ''Incas'' (English: ''Peru Incas''), represents Peru in rugby league. History The sport has yet to be played on Peruvian soil but efforts are in place to bring rugby league to Central and South America through the Latin Heat Rugby League. The Latin Heat fielded enough Peruvian players to make up a Rugby league sevens team so they have entered into the first ever Latino Rugby League Sevens tournament. The Incas made their debut at the first ever Latino Sevens on 17 October 2015, recording their first ever victories and making it to the final. The Incas also participated in a festival of Latin American Rugby League which was held at Henson Park in June, 2016. National Rugby League Teams
This is a complete list of clubs that have competed in the first-grade Rugby League football competition in Australia that began with the New South Wales Rugby Football League (NSWRFL) competition in 1908. The NSWRL (having dropped the word Football from their name in the 1980s) ran the competition until the end of the 1994 season, when the sport's national governing body, the Australian Rugby League (ARL), took over. However a rival competition was being planned and the only season of the News Limited-owned Super League competition (SL) was held in 1997. The two competitions were reunited as the National Rugby League (NRL) in time for the start of the 1998 season. The NRL was established as a company owned in partnership between the ARL and News Limited. In 2013 the ARL was reconstituted as the Australian Rugby League Commission (ARLC) and News Limited handed their 50% stake in the NRL back to the governing body. The New South Wales Rugby League (NSWRL) is the governing body of rugby league in New South Wales and the Australian Capital Territory and is a member of the Australian Rugby League Commission. It was formed in Sydney on 8 August 1907 and was known as the New South Wales Rugby Football League (NSWRFL) until 1984. From 1908 to 1994, the NSWRL ran Sydney's, then New South Wales', and eventually Australia's top-level rugby league club competition from their headquarters (or "Bunker" as it was nicknamed during the Super League war) on Phillip Street, Sydney. Campbelltown is a suburb located on the outskirts of the metropolitan area of Sydney, New South Wales, Australia.
