Peri River
The Peri River is a principle left-bank tributary of the Euphrates River in eastern Turkey. It discharges into the reservoir of the Keban Dam. The river begins in Erzurum Province and flows through Bingöl Province before creating the border between the provinces of Elazığ and Tunceli. From upstream to downstream, it is interrupted by the Kığı, Yedisu, Özlüce, Pembelik, Seyrantepe and Tatar Dams. Lake Keban
The Keban Dam ( tr, Keban Barajı) is a hydroelectric dam on the Euphrates, located in the Elazığ Province of Turkey. The dam is the first and uppermost of several large-scale dams to be built on the Euphrates by Turkey. Although the Keban Dam was not originally constructed as a part of the Southeastern Anatolia Project (GAP), it is now a fully integrated component of the project, which aims to stimulate economic development in Southeastern Turkey. Yedisu Dam
The Yedisu Dam is an earth-fill embankment dam on the Peri River (a tributary of the Euphrates), in Kiğı district of Bingöl Province, Turkey. Its primary purpose is hydroelectric power generation and is the second dam in the Peri River cascade. Construction on the dam began in 2009 and its power station was commissioned in 2011. Hydroelectric

Seyrantepe Dam
The Seyrantepe Dam is an earth-fill embankment dam on the Peri River (a tributary of the Euphrates), located northwest of Karakoçan on the border of Elazığ Province, Elazığ and Tunceli Provinces, Turkey. Kığı Dam
Kığı Dam is a rock-fill embankment dam on the Peri River (a tributary of the Euphrates) in Bingöl Province, Turkey. Its primary purpose is hydroelectric power generation and is the first dam in the Peri River cascade, serving as the headwaters. Construction began in 1998 and is backed by the Turkish State Hydraulic Works. When commissioned, it will support a 180 MW power station. Water from the reservoir will be diverted to an underground power station downstream via an long tunnel. Tunceli Province
Tunceli Province ( tr, Tunceli ili, ku, Parêzgeha Dêrsimê, Zazaki: ), formerly Dersim Province, is located in the Eastern Anatolia region of Turkey. Elazığ Province
Elazığ Province ( tr, ; Zazaki: Suke Xarpêt; ku, Parêzgeha Xarpêtê) is a province of Turkey with its seat in the city of Elazığ. The province had a population of 568,753 in 2014. The population of the province was 569,616 in 2000 and 498,225 in 1990. The total area of the province is , of which is covered by reservoirs and natural lakes.
