Pereira () is the capital city of the Colombian department of Risaralda. It is located in the foothills of the Andes in a coffee-producing area of Colombia officially known as the " Coffee Axis". Lake Otún
Lake Otún (''Laguna del Otún'') is a small lake in the Nevados National Park, in the Risaralda department of Colombia. It located at an altitude of 3,900 m and has an area of 1.5 square kilometres. The lake is of glacial origin and is fed by meltwaters of the Nevado Santa Isabel. Lake Otún is the source of the Otún River, which supplies drinking water to the cities of Pereira and Dosquebradas. Jorge Robledo (1500 – 5 October 1546) was a Spanish conquistador. He traveled in modern-day Colombia, Guatemala, and Peru and was executed by decapitation by order of Sebastián de Belalcázar. Biography Jorge Robledo was born in the year 1500 in Úbeda, Jaén, Andalusia, Spain, with unknown parents.Banco de la República He is first mentioned in the historical chronicles as soldier in the army of Lorenzo de Aldana, who was sent north by Francisco Pizarro in 1539 towards the newly founded province of Popayán.
