Percy Tårar
''Percy tårar'' (''Percy’s Tears'') is a Swedish 6-part television show broadcast by Sveriges Television in 1996. It was Killinggänget's follow-up to ''Nilecity 105,6''. It was directed by Walter Söderlund and produced by Magdalena Jangard. The series revolves around a number of mostly unrelated storylines which are told in segments in each episode. These segments are flanked by various stand-alone sketches that sometimes elaborate on minor characters. Plot The primary storyline concerns Percy Nilegård (Johan Rheborg), who has gone into psychotherapy, where he meets Dr J. Tull, which may not be his real name, and reveals how he took over another person's life to make money. Percy feels lonely and wants Dr. Tull to help him write his memoir. Their conversation then shifts to a series of flashbacks in which Percy relates the story of how he exploited the new boss of an old family-run brewery. ''NileCity 105.6'' was a Sweden, Swedish 6-part television show broadcast by Sveriges Television in 1995. It was the first major success of the Swedish comedy group Killinggänget. Each episode was titled "Vuxna män gör saker tillsammans" ("Adult men doing things together"). Set in Stockholm, the show revolves around the low-budget radio station NileCity 105.6, its staff and a number of related characters. It is owned and run by Percy Nilegård who rents a few rooms in a fire station. (Exterior shots featured the 19th-century Katarina fire station in central Stockholm.) Killinggänget is a Swedish comedy group, started in 1991. It is named after Glenn Killing, a character played by Henrik Schyffert who has appeared in many of their shows. The group is notable for their evolution from straight comedy to comedy/drama, a concept they have referred to as "brown comedy". Percy Nilegård
Percy Nilegård is a fictional character played by Johan Rheborg since 1991, and one of the primary staples of the Swedish comedy group Killinggänget. As a vain, snobbish, and possibly insane businessman with a noticeable underbite, he does almost everything to earn money while also promoting his own ideas of "good taste". Nilegård, whose worldview is very ignorant in general, has a tendency to insert (sometimes poorly worded) English words and phrases into his speech, primarily to describe management and corporate-related concepts, a tendency which makes his character somewhat reminiscent of the Swedish yuppie culture in the late 1980's. Arne Christer Fuglesang (born 18 March 1957) is a Swedish physicist and an ESA astronaut. He was first launched aboard the STS-116 Space Shuttle mission on 10 December 2006, making him the first Swedish citizen in space.
