Percik Pesona
''Percik Pesona'' (''Stain of Enchantment'') is a 1979 album by Indonesian singer Chrisye and is his third album and the second with Musica Studios. The album was received poorly, with Chrisye later reflecting that he had undergone second album syndrome. Production ''Percik Pesona'' was Chrisye's second solo album and fifth album overall. It was produced after the massive success of Chrisye's debut solo album ''Sabda Alam'' (''Nature's Order'') and soon after the death of Amin Widjaja, one of the founders of Musica Studios. Songwriting was handled by Chrisye, Jockie Soerjoprajogo, and Guruh Soekarnoputra. Backing vocals were provided by rising star Rafika Duri. Chrisye, although shocked by Amin's passing and feeling little passion for the music, provided the vocals, mixing pop and jazz; he also hit high notes on "Kehidupanku" ("My Life'). Hajji Chrismansyah Rahadi (; 16 September 1949 – 30 March 2007), born Christian Rahadi (), better known by his stage name Chrisye (), was an Indonesian progressive pop singer and songwriter. In 2011 ''Rolling Stone Indonesia'' declared him the third-greatest Indonesian musician of all time. Born in Jakarta of mixed Chinese-Indonesian descent, Chrisye became interested in music at an early age. At high school he played bass guitar in a band he formed with his brother, Joris. In the late 1960s he joined Sabda Nada (later Gipsy), a band led by his neighbours, the Nasutions. In 1973, after a short hiatus, he rejoined the band to play in New York for a year. He briefly returned to Indonesia and then went back to New York with another band, the Pro's. PT Musica Studios is an Indonesian music company based in Jakarta. Known as Metropolitan Studios in the 1960s and then Musica Studios in the 1970s, Musica was founded by Yamin Widjaja, the owner of an electronics store. Musica is one of the largest music companies in Indonesia. Musical artists such as Noah (formerly known as Peterpan), have recorded on the Musica label. ''Sabda Alam'' (''Nature's Order'') is a 1978 Indonesian album released by Musica Studios. It is Chrisye's second studio album and his first after signing with Musica. The album was written in collaboration with Guruh Sukarnoputra. It was well received and, in 2007, was listed by Rolling Stone Indonesia as one of the 150 best Indonesian albums of all time. Actually, this album was scheduled to be released in August 1977, but it was officially released in early 1978. Production After the success of '' Badai Pasti Berlalu'', Chrisye was approached by Amin Wijaya of Musica Studios and offered a chance to record an album. ''Puspa Indah'' (''Beautiful Flower'') is a 1980 album by Indonesian singer Chrisye, working in collaboration with Guruh Soekarnoputra. It was his fourth studio album and the third with Musica Studios. Recording After the failure of '' Percik Pesona'' (''Stain of Enchantment''; 1979), Chrisye decided to distance himself from the pure pop sound that had made the earlier albums '' Badai Pasti Berlalu'' (''The Storm Will Surely Pass''; 1977) and ''Sabda Alam'' (''Nature's Order''; 1978) successful. After a period of introspection and contemplation, he decided to stick with pop, but give it a romantic theme with easy listening influences. Jockie Soerjoprajogo (; Perfected Spelling: Yockie Suryoprayogo; 14 September 1954 – 5 February 2018) was an Indonesian musician and songwriter. Jockie began his musical career while a junior high school student in Balikpapan, East Kalimantan. After working with bands in Jakarta and Surabaya, in 1973, he joined with Ahmad Albar, Donny Fattah and Ludwig Leeman to form God Bless; he would remain with this band intermittently until the 2000s. Jockie also worked with artists such as Chrisye and Iwan Fals, ultimately writing two songs—" Kehidupan" ("Life") and "Kesaksian" ("Witness")—that were listed by ''Rolling Stone Indonesia'' as among the best Indonesian songs of all time. Muhammad Guruh Irianto Sukarnoputra (born 13 January 1953) is a member of Indonesia's People's Representative Council and an artist. He is the youngest son of Indonesia's first president, Sukarno with his third wife, Fatmawati, and the brother to former Indonesian president Megawati Sukarnoputri. Fariz Rustam Munaf or better known as Fariz RM (born in Jakarta, Indonesia on 5 January 1959) is an Indonesian singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist of mixed ethnic Betawi, Dutch and Minangkabau descent.
