Per Øisang
Per Øisang (21 February 1920 – 12 January 1967) was a Norwegian journalist. He was best known as a radio and television presenter and correspondent in the Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation. Early life He was born in Tønsberg in 1920, but later moved to Trondheim. He was a student at the outset of World War II and subsequently during the occupation of Norway by Nazi Germany. He was arrested in Trondheim by the Nazi authorities on 2 November 1943, and was imprisoned at Falstad, then moved to Grini where he sat from 22 September 1944 to the liberation on 8 May 1945. Career He started his journalistic career in 1945 in ''Arbeider-Avisa'', took the Master of Science degree in Chicago in 1947 and was hired as subeditor in ''Bergens Arbeiderblad'' in 1949. From 1954 he was a member of the board of the Norwegian Press Association, and chaired its local branch in Bergen. The Storting ( no, Stortinget ) (lit. the Great Thing) is the supreme legislature of Norway, established in 1814 by the Constitution of Norway. It is located in Oslo. Jahn Otto Johansen
Jahn Otto Johansen (3 May 1934 – 1 January 2018) was a Norwegian journalist, newspaper editor, foreign correspondent and non-fiction writer. He worked for the newspaper '' Morgenposten'' from 1956 to 1966, for the Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation (NRK) from 1966 to 1977, and was chief editor of ''Dagbladet'' from 1977 to 1984. He has been a foreign correspondent for NRK in Moscow, Washington, D.C., and Berlin. He wrote about sixty books, including several bestsellers. ''Dagsrevyen'' (English: ''The Daily Review'') is the daily evening news programme for the Norway, Norwegian television channel NRK1, the main channel of the Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation (NRK), broadcast at 19:00. In 2007, the programme started airing simultaneously on NRK's dedicated news channel NRK2, but this arrangement ended that same year. Dagsrevyen's first newscast was broadcast in 1958 and it has kept its name since. It is Norway's most viewed programme, with daily ratings of around one million.
