Per Nilsson (Guitarist)
Per Nilsson is a Swedish guitarist and producer. He is best known as one of the founding members of the melodic death metal/progressive metal band Scar Symmetry and for being the touring lead guitarist for Meshuggah during Fredrik Thordendal's 2017-2021 hiatus. He is also the guitarist for Swedish progressive rock group Kaipa and since 2017 he is the lead guitarist for Swedish power metal band Nocturnal Rites. In January 2013, Guitar Messenger released a guitar instructional DVD with Nilsson called ''Scar Guitar''. Until 2013, he was endorsed by Ibanez Guitars. He is now endorsed by Strandberg Guitars, who in collaboration with him has created the Strandberg Singularity, his first signature guitar. Meshuggah
Meshuggah () is a Swedish extreme metal band formed in Umeå in 1985. Originally, the band's name was Metallien. The band's current lineup consists of lead vocalist Jens Kidman, guitarists Fredrik Thordendal and Mårten Hagström, drummer Tomas Haake and bassist Dick Lövgren. Since its formation, the band has released nine studio albums, six EPs and eight music videos. Their latest studio album, '' Immutable'', was released in April 2022 via Atomic Fire Records. Meshuggah has become known for their innovative musical style and their complex, polymetered song structures and polyrhythms. They rose to fame as a significant act in extreme underground music, became an influence for modern metal bands, and gained a cult following. ''Pitch Black Progress'' is the second studio album by Swedish metal band Scar Symmetry. The album was released in Europe on April 21, 2006 and in North America on May 2, 2006 through Nuclear Blast. ''Pitch Black Progress'' was recorded, mixed, and mastered at Black Lounge Studios, Avesta, Sweden, on various occasions during 2005, by Jonas Kjellgren. The album's artwork and layout was created by Anthony Clarkson. Allmusic praised the album's "uncompromisingly extreme hard-soft dynamics and accompanying, remarkably accessible sing-and-grunt-along choruses". Zonaria is a melodic death metal band from Umeå, Sweden, formerly known as Seal Precious. The band is currently signed to Century Media Records. Background Formed in 2001 by Simon Berglund, Christoffer Vikström, and Mikael Hammarberg, the band originally went under the name Seal Precious. Initially the band's style was power metal, with clean vocals. Beyond Twilight
Beyond Twilight is a progressive metal band from Denmark. History The band was originally formed by Finn Zierler in 1992 under the name "Twilight". Twilight attracted international attention releasing the debut album ''Eye For An Eye'' selling 25,000 copies. Twilight released two albums, ''Eye For An Eye'' and "The Edge", and one single "Sail Away".
