Pennsylvania Route 764 (PA 764) is a north–south state highway in Blair County in the U.S. state of Pennsylvania. The route is one of many major north–south thoroughfares in Altoona. South of the city near Duncansville, a suburb of Altoona, it terminates at an interchange with U.S. Route 22 (US 22). The northern terminus is located several miles north of Altoona east of Pinecroft, at an interchange with Interstate 99 (I-99) and US 220, at exit 39. Route description PA 764 begins in Allegheny Township at an interchange with US 22, south of downtown Altoona. The junction is composed of two trumpet-style interchanges connecting PA 764 with the US 22 freeway. To the south of the interchange, the surface road continues as US 22 to Duncansville. From there, PA 764 is aligned north–south through the southern Altoona suburbs and small hamlets, running parallel to and west of I-99/US 220. William Penn Highway
The William Penn Highway was an auto trail that ran from Pittsburgh in west to New York City in the east. It served as the Pikes Peak Ocean to Ocean Highway west of Reading and as its branch to New York City. The William Penn Highway Association of Pennsylvania was organized March 27, 1916 to promote a road parallel to the Pennsylvania Railroad between Pittsburgh and Philadelphia. Antis Township is a township in Blair County, Pennsylvania, United States. The population was 6,499 at the 2010 census. History The township was named for Frederick Antes, a colonel who fought during the Revolutionary War. Geography Antis Township is located in northwestern Blair County, with its northwestern border following the Cambria County line. The township fully surrounds the borough of Bellwood. Census-designated places in the township include (from north to south) Tipton, Fostoria, Roots, Reightown, and Pinecroft. Pennsylvania Route 36 (PA 36) is a long state highway located in the U.S. state of Pennsylvania. The southern terminus is at PA 26 near the Hopewell Township community of Yellow Creek. The northern terminus is at PA 27 and PA 227 in Pleasantville. Interstate 99
Interstate 99 (I-99) is an Interstate Highway in the United States with two segments: one located in central Pennsylvania, and the other in southern New York. The southern terminus of the route is near exit 146 of the Pennsylvania Turnpike (I-70/I-76) north of Bedford, where the road continues south as U.S. Route 220 (US 220). The northern terminus of the Pennsylvania segment is near exit 161 of I-80 near Bellefonte. The New York segment follows US 15 from the Pennsylvania–New York border to an interchange with I-86 in Corning.
