Pennsylvania Route 660 (designated by the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation as PA 660) is a state highway located in Tioga County in Pennsylvania. The western terminus is at the entrance of Leonard Harrison State Park in Shippen Township. The eastern terminus is at U.S. Route 15 (US 15) and US 15 Business (US 15 Bus.) in Richmond Township. Leonard Harrison State Park
Leonard Harrison State Park is a Pennsylvania state park in Tioga County, Pennsylvania, in the United States. It is on the east rim of the Pine Creek Gorge, also known as the Grand Canyon of Pennsylvania, which is deep and nearly across here. It also serves as headquarters for the adjoining Colton Point State Park, its sister park on the west rim of the gorge. Leonard Harrison State Park is known for its views of the Pine Creek Gorge, and offers hiking, fishing and hunting, whitewater boating, and camping. The park is in Shippen and Delmar Townships, west of Wellsboro at the western terminus of Pennsylvania Route 660. Pine Creek flows through the park and has carved the gorge through five major rock formations from the Devonian and Carboniferous periods. The Erie Railroad was a railroad that operated in the northeastern United States, originally connecting New York City — more specifically Jersey City, New Jersey, where Erie's Pavonia Terminal, long demolished, used to stand — with Lake Erie, at Dunkirk, New York. Pennsylvania Route 287 (PA 287) is a state highway in the Tioga Valley of Pennsylvania, United States. Route 287 runs from an intersection with U.S. Route 220 (US 220) in the community of Larrys Creek in Piatt Township, Lycoming County, north to an intersection with PA 49 just south of the New York state line in Lawrenceville, Tioga County. The route follows Larrys Creek through several isolated communities, including Salladasburg and English Center, before working its way towards Hoytville, where it meets PA 414. The route ends up in Wellsboro, where it meets US 6, and reaches Tioga. The alignment of PA 287 has been successor to a set of plank roads from Larrys Creek to Lawrenceville.
