Penn State Brandywine
Penn State Brandywine is a commonwealth campus of the Pennsylvania State University located in Middletown Township, Pennsylvania. The campus was formerly known as Penn State Delaware County. The campus has baccalaureate and associate degrees and certificate programs. The campus is located on over of grounds. In August 2017, the campus established on-campus housing for the first time with the opening of Orchard Hall, a 250-bed dormitory. Athletics Penn State University Community College (PSUCC)- Brandywine Campus teams participate as a member of the United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA). The Nittany Lions are a member of the Pennsylvania State University Athletic Conference (PSUAC). Neeli Bendapudi
Neeli Bendapudi is an American academic administrator who is the 19th president of the Pennsylvania State University. From 2018 until 2021, she served as the 18th president of the University of Louisville. In December 2021, the Pennsylvania State University announced that it had named Bendapudi as its next president, to succeed Eric J. Barron upon his retirement. She assumed office in May 2022 and is the first woman and the first non-white person to serve as Penn State's president. Early life and education Bendapudi was born in India and attended Andhra University, where she earned her undergraduate and master's degrees. She moved to the United States to attend graduate school at the University of Kansas, where she earned her Ph.D. in marketing. Middletown Township is a township in Delaware County, Pennsylvania, United States. The population was 15,807 at the 2010 census. The Pennsylvania State University has an undergraduate satellite campus called Penn State Brandywine located in the north-central portion of the township. Originally established in 1686, Middletown Township adopted a Home Rule Charter in 1978.
