Pemba Bay
Pemba Bay ( pt, Baia de Pemba) is a very large bay on the Indian Ocean of northeastern Mozambique. Geography The Pemba Bay is east-facing and is located in the area of the city of Pemba. It is hemmed in largely by the Pemba peninsula which contains the city and is accessed through a relatively narrow channel. The Lúrio River empties into the sea just to the south of Pemba Bay. It is a notorious location for the illegal trade of ivory. Operators such as Kakazini offer trips around the bay for about US$40 per person. Several hotels overlook Pemba Bay including Londo Lodge, which has "beach-facing villas overlooking the bay, a restaurant and a range of water sports". Lúrio River
The Lúrio is a river of northeastern Mozambique. It flows to the south of the Ruvuma River and empties into the sea just south of Pemba Bay. The river is characterised by seasonal flows and lined by swamps. There is a notable waterfall located along the river. Mozambique

Pemba, Mozambique
Pemba is a port city and district in Mozambique. It is the capital of the province of Cabo Delgado and lies on a peninsula in Pemba Bay. The town was founded by the Niassa Company in 1904 as Porto Amélia, after the Queen of Portugal, at the peninsula's northwestern tip and has grown around a port. The city is renowned for its Portuguese colonial architecture. It was renamed Pemba at the end of Portuguese rule, in 1975. The city's inhabitants are primarily Swahili, Makondes, Macuas and Mwanis. Local languages that are spoken are Kimwani and Macua, although Portuguese is widespread. Ivory
Ivory is a hard, white material from the tusks (traditionally from elephants) and teeth of animals, that consists mainly of dentine, one of the physical structures of teeth and tusks. The chemical structure of the teeth and tusks of mammals is the same, regardless of the species of origin, but ivory contains structures of mineralised collagen. A mosquito net is a type of meshed curtain that is circumferentially draped over a bed or a sleeping area, to offer the sleeper barrier protection against bites and stings from mosquitos, flies, and other pest insects, and thus against the diseases they may carry. Examples of such preventable insect-borne diseases include malaria, dengue fever, yellow fever, zika virus, Chagas disease and various forms of encephalitis, including the West Nile virus.
