Bob Peeters
Bob Peeters (born 10 January 1974) is a Belgian football manager and former player currently manager of Eerste Divisie club Helmond Sport. Club career Lierse Noted for his large stature, measuring 1.96 m, Peeters grew up in Wommelgem, Antwerp Province and joined Ternesse VV Wommelgem at a young age. He moved to the Lierse academy at the age of eight, progressing through the youth teams before making his senior debut in 1992 under head coach Herman Helleputte. In 1994, after the arrival of Eric Gerets as manager, Peeters experienced his breakthrough. The striker scored eight goals and formed a striking duo with Dirk Huysmans, in a Lierse-team counting profiles such as Nico Van Kerckhoven, Philip Haagdoren, Eric Van Meir and David Brocken which won the Belgian First Division A title in the 1996–97 season. Clara Peeters
Clara Peeters (active 1607–1621) was a Flemish still-life painter from Antwerp who worked in both the Spanish Netherlands and Dutch Republic. Peeters is the best-known female Flemish artist of this era and one of the few women artists working professionally in seventeenth-century Europe, despite restrictions on women's access to artistic training and membership in guilds. Peeters specialized in still-life paintings with food and was prominent among the artists who shaped the traditions of the Netherlandish ''ontbijtjes'', "breakfast pieces," scenes of food and simple vessels, and ''banketjes'', "banquet pieces" with expensive cups and vessels in precious metals. Pete Peeters (born August 17, 1957) is a Canadian former professional ice hockey goaltender. He was selected by the Philadelphia Flyers in the eighth round (135th overall) of the 1977 NHL amateur draft. and went on to play 13 seasons in the National Hockey League (NHL) for the Philadelphia Flyers, Boston Bruins and Washington Capitals. Early life Peeters was born in a family of Dutch immigrants in Edmonton, Alberta. At a young age, he valued swimming more than hockey. It was not until he was 18 that Peeters was committed to junior hockey. In 1975, Peeters joined a struggling Medicine Hat Tigers team. He would stay with the Tigers for two years before being drafted. Gillis Peeters (1612 – 1653), was a Flemish painter, draughtsman and engraver who contributed to the development of marine art and landscape painting in Flanders. Life He was born in Antwerp. He was the older brother of the marine painters Catharina, Jan I and Bonaventura Peeters. He is recorded in 1631 as the pupil of the Dutch flower painter Anthony Claesz the Younger who had left his home country in 1629. Hendrik Peeters
Hendrik Peeters (19 April 1815 – 29 June 1869) was a Belgian sculptor. He was the co-founder of the workshop ''Hendrik Peeters-Divoort''. Biography Hendrik Peeters was born in Turnhout on 19 April 1815. He was the son of Louis Peeters and his second wife Anna Catharina Peeters. His father supported the family as a weaver and died in 1818, when Hendrik was only 3 years old. Many prominent figures in the field of architecture, sculpture and painting studied at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts (Antwerp), Academy in Antwerp at the time, and this was also the case for Hendrik. He was registered there from 1832, that is, at the age of 17, and stayed there until 1838.
