Pedro Telemaco
Pedro Telemaco (born October 13, 1968) is a Puerto Rican actor, model and comedian. He is a native of San Juan. Early years Telemaco started acting at a very young age, participating in theater plays by the time he was thirteen. Telemaco made his television debut in a telenovela named '' La Verdadera Eva'' (''The Real Eva''). In 1983, Telemaco acted alongside Juan Ferrara in channel 2's acclaimed telenovela, '' Laura Guzman, Culpable!'' (''Laura Guzman, Guilty!''). Acting career Telemaco was a drama student at the University of Puerto Rico, where he kept acting in theater. At the time, heavy rumors about Telemaco becoming the first Black actor to star in a Puerto Rican telenovela surfaced in such publications as Vea, Teve GuÃa and other Puerto Rican gossip magazines. Ruth Fernández (23 May 1919 – 9 January 2012) was a Puerto Rican contralto and a member of the Puerto Rican Senate. According to the "Comisiones Nacionales para la Celebración del Quinto Centenario" ''(National Commission for the Celebration of the Fifth Centennial)'', she is said to be one of three artists whose contributions have helped unite Latin America. ''Cat Chaser'' is a 1989 American heist film directed by Abel Ferrara and starring Peter Weller and Kelly McGillis, based on the 1982 novel of the same name by Elmore Leonard. Roberto Enrique Clemente Walker (; August 18, 1934 – December 31, 1972) was a Puerto Rican professional baseball right fielder who played 18 seasons in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Pittsburgh Pirates. After his early death, he was posthumously inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 1973, becoming both the first Caribbean and the first Latin-American player to be enshrined. Because he died at a young age and had such a historic career, the Hall of Fame changed its rules of eligibility. A sitcom, a portmanteau of situation comedy, or situational comedy, is a genre of comedy centered on a fixed set of characters who mostly carry over from episode to episode. Sitcoms can be contrasted with sketch comedy, where a troupe may use new characters in each sketch, and stand-up comedy, where a comedian tells jokes and stories to an audience.
