Telenovela
A telenovela is a type of a television serial drama or soap opera produced primarily in Latin America. The word combines ''tele'' (for "television") and ''novela'' (meaning "novel"). Similar drama genres around the world include '' teleserye'' (Philippines), '' téléroman'' (Canada, specifically Quebec), and ''sinetron'' (Indonesia). Commonly described using the American colloquialism Spanish soap opera, many telenovelas share some stylistic and thematic similarities to the soap opera familiar to the English-speaking world. The significant difference is their series run length; telenovelas tell one self-contained story, typically within the span of a year or less whereas soap operas tend to have intertwined storylines told during indefinite, continuing runs. This makes them shorter than most other television series, but still much longer than a miniseries. Renata Fronzi
Renata Mirra Ana Maria Fronzi (August 1, 1925 – April 15, 2008) was an Argentine-born Brazilian television and film actress. She was well known for her role as the character, Helena, in the Brazilian television show, '' Família Trapo''. ''Família Trapo'' aired on TV Record, the commercial name for Rede Record, from 1967 until 1971. Fronzi appeared on the show opposite a number of actors including Ronald Golias, Jô Soares, Otello Zeloni, Cidinha Campos and Renato Corte Real. Early life Renata Fronzi was born in the city of Rosario, Santa Fe, Argentina. She was the daughter of two Italian-Argentine theater actors. Oswaldo Louzada (Rio de Janeiro, 12 April 1912 — Rio de Janeiro, 22 February 2008) was a Brazilian actor. He was also known as Louzadinha. Louzada was born in Rio de Janeiro on April 12, 1912. He began working on the Radio Panamericana radio drama, under the direction of Oduvaldo Viana in 1944. Louzada also filmed two Brazilian movies in 1944, '' Gente Honesta'' and '' É Proibido Sonhar''. Louzada did not begin working in television until 1971. His telenovela credits included ''Estúpido Cupido'' (''Stupid Cupid''), ''Locomotivas'' and ''Vamp''. João Carlos Barroso
João Carlos de Albuquerque Melo Barroso (February 28, 1950 - August 12, 2019) was a Brazilian actor. Career Barroso began his acting career when Argentine producers met eleven-year-old João Carlos playing soccer on the sidewalks of Bolivar street in Copacabana. Later he was invited to participate in "Tercer Mundo" film which was shot in the hills of the city. This film was a Brazil-Argentina co-production filmed in 1961 and released only in 1973. With his work in this film, he was invited to perform in Luigi Pirandello's play " Man, Beast and Virtue". For his performance, Barroso received several theatrical revelation awards in 1962.
