Pearl Forrester
Pearl Forrester is a fictional character on ''Mystery Science Theater 3000'', and is played by Mary Jo Pehl. Pearl is the mother of Dr. Clayton Forrester (Trace Beaulieu). Initially devised as a guest character, Pearl became a supporting character for Clayton before replacing him as the lead mad scientist. Character Pearl first appears in episode 607, "Bloodlust!". Her character appears in the opening and closing host segments when she pays a visit to Clayton and TV's Frank; she has had a long-running correspondence with the character Frank but ignores her son's attempts to make her proud, often emotionally (and sometimes physically) abusing him. At the end of the sixth season, Frank ascends to "Second Banana Heaven" and Pearl moves in to help Clayton at the beginning of the seventh season and becomes a regular cast member for the rest of the series' original run. Mystery Science Theater 3000
''Mystery Science Theater 3000'' (abbreviated as ''MST3K'') is an American science fiction comedy film review television series created by Joel Hodgson. The show premiered on KTMA-TV (now WUCW) in Minneapolis, Minnesota, on November 24, 1988. It then moved to nationwide broadcast, first on The Comedy Channel/Comedy Central for seven seasons until its cancellation in 1996. Thereafter, it was picked up by The Sci-Fi Channel and aired for three more seasons until another cancellation in August 1999. A 60-episode syndication package titled ''The Mystery Science Theater Hour'' was produced in 1993 and broadcast on Comedy Central and syndicated to TV stations in 1995. In 2015, Hodgson led a crowdfunded revival of the series with 14 episodes in its eleventh season, first released on Netflix on April 14, 2017, with another six-episode season following on November 22, 2018. ''Reptilicus'' is a 1961 Danish-American Monster film, giant monster film about a prehistoric reptile. The film was produced by Cinemagic and Saga Studio and separate versions were released in Denmark and in the United States, with American International Pictures handling distribution for the latter. Filming took place in several locations in Denmark, including Copenhagen, Sjælland, and Jylland. Several versions were filmed. The original was filmed using the native Danish language and the second was filmed using the English language. "It's a Long Way to Tipperary" (or "It's a Long, Long Way to Tipperary") is an English music hall song first performed in 1912 by Jack Judge, and written by Judge and Harry Williams, though authorship of the song has long been disputed. It was recorded in 1914 by Irish tenor John McCormack. It became popular as a marching song among soldiers in the First World War and is remembered as a song of that war. Welcoming signs, in the referenced county of Tipperary, Ireland, humorously declare, "You've come a long way" in reference to the song. ''Quest of the Delta Knights'' is a 1993 fantasy/adventure sword and sorcery film that was featured in a September 1998 episode of '' Mystery Science Theater 3000''. It is one of only a few movies shown on MST3K that was made in the 1990s. Plot The plot revolves around a young boy named Travis (nicknamed "Tee") who learns from his master that he is the key to saving the world from an evil plot. Observer (also known as Brain Guy) is a fictional character in the '' Mystery Science Theater 3000'' television series. He is played by Bill Corbett, and appears in the eighth through eleventh seasons of the series. Observer is a hyperintelligent, psychic alien from a planet of fellow aliens who confusingly all share the name "Observer" (the other two who appear in the series are played by Michael J. Nelson and Paul Chaplin).
