Peangtarn Plipuech
Peangtarn "Earth" Plipuech ( th, เพียงธาร ผลิพืช; born 15 November 1992) is a Thai tennis player. Plipuech has a career-high singles ranking by the Women's Tennis Association (WTA) of 175, achieved on 31 July 2017. On 10 October 2016, she peaked at No. 100 in the WTA doubles rankings. She has won two doubles titles on the WTA Challenger Tour, along with six singles and 29 doubles titles on the ITF Women's Circuit. Her biggest success to date was at the 2013 Fifth Third Bank Tennis Championships where she and Nicha Lertpitaksinchai claimed the doubles title. In 2016 and 2017, she reached the final of WTA tournament in Seoul. Plipuech's sister Plobrung is a junior tennis player. Johanna Larsson
Johanna Larsson (; born 17 August 1988) is a Swedish former tennis player. She won two singles and 14 doubles titles on the WTA Tour, as well as 13 singles and 17 doubles titles on the ITF Women's Circuit. Her career-high WTA rankings are No. 45 in singles, achieved in September 2016, and No. 20 in doubles, set on 30 October 2017. Kirsten "Flipper" Flipkens (; born 10 January 1986) is a Belgian professional tennis player. She has a career-high ranking of No. 13 by the Women's Tennis Association (WTA). WTA 250 tournaments is a category of tennis tournaments in the Women's Tennis Association tour, implemented since the reorganization of the schedule in 2021. Earlier these events were classified as WTA International tournaments, WTA International Tournaments. As of 2021, WTA 250 tournaments include events with prize money of approximately $250,000. The ranking points awarded to the winners of these tournaments are 280. This compares to 2,000 points for winning a Grand Slam (tennis), Grand Slam tournament ("major"), up to 1,500 points for winning the WTA Finals, 1000 points for winning a WTA 1000 tournament, and 470 for winning a WTA 500 tournament. This system differs slightly from that used for the men's ATP Tour, which has ATP Tour 250 events with 250 points for the winner (similar to WTA 250 tournaments), and two higher tiers of ATP tournaments offer 1000 and 500 points for winning, respectively. The WTA International Tournaments was a category for professional tennis tournaments of the Women's Tennis Association from the 2009 WTA Tour until 2020, which replaced the previous Tier III and Tier IV categories. The Korea Open is a professional tennis tennis tournament held in Seoul, South Korea. The women's edition started in 2004 as WTA International tournament and was played at the Seoul Olympic Park Tennis Center on outdoor hardcourts. In 2012 and 2013, it was sponsored by KDB (formerly sponsored by Hansol). In 2014, Kia Motors was the sponsor. In 2020, the tournament was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. In 2021, it was originally scheduled as a WTA 250 event in September, but was later postponed and rescheduled to December as a WTA 125 tournament and indoor event. The US Open Tennis Championships is a hardcourt tennis tournament held annually in Queens, New York. Since 1987, the US Open has been chronologically the fourth and final Grand Slam tournament of the year. The other three, in chronological order, are the Australian Open, French Open and Wimbledon.
