Paweł Zagumny
Paweł Zagumny (born 18 October 1977) is a Polish former professional volleyball player. He was a member of the Poland men's national volleyball team, Poland national team in 1996–2014. A participant at the Olympic Games (1996 Summer Olympics, Atlanta 1996, 2004 Summer Olympics, Athens 2004, 2008 Summer Olympics, Beijing 2008, 2012 Summer Olympics, London 2012), the 2014 FIVB Volleyball Men's World Championship, 2014 World Champion, 2012 FIVB Volleyball World League, 2012 World League winner, and the 2009 Men's European Volleyball Championship, 2009 European Champion. A former president of the PlusLiga, Polish Volleyball League. Personal life Paweł Zagumny was born in Jasło, but he grew up in Warszawa, in Ursynów district. Jasło
Jasło is a county town in south-eastern Poland with 36,641 inhabitants, as of 31 December 2012. It is situated in the Subcarpathian Voivodeship (since 1999), and it was previously part of Krosno Voivodeship (1975–1998). Ursynów
Ursynów () is the southernmost district of Warsaw. With a surface area of , it is the third largest district in Warsaw, comprising 8.6% of the city. PlusLiga
The PlusLiga is the highest level of men's volleyball in Poland, a professional league competition featuring volleyball clubs located in this country. It is overseen by Polska Liga Siatkówki SA (PLS SA). It is currently a 16 teams league from October to April/May. The regular season is followed by playoffs, with the winner earning the Polish Championship ( pl, Mistrzostwo Polski).
