Pavel Nikolayevich Gusev
Pavel Nikolayevich Gusev (russian: Павел Николаевич Гусев; born 4 April 1949, Moscow) is a Russian journalist and public figure. He has been the editor-in-chief of the Moscow daily newspaper ''Moskovskij Komsomolets'' since 1983. He is a professor of journalism at the International University in Moscow and a member of Russia's Presidential Council for Civil Society and Human Rights. He is also the head of the Moscow Union of Journalists. Early life and education Gusev was born on 4 April 1949 in Moscow, Russia. He graduated from the Russian State Geological Prospecting University in 1971. From 1971-1975, Gusev was a junior research associate at the Russian State Geological Prospecting University. The Order of Honour ( rus, орден Почёта, r=orden Pachyota) is a state order of the Russian Federation established by Presidential Decree No. 442 of March 2, 1994 to recognise high achievements in government, economic, scientific, sociocultural, public, sport and charitable activities.
