Pauline Croze
Pauline Croze (born 4 May 1979, in Noisy-le-Sec) is a French pop/folk singer and musician. She started to sing and play the guitar when she was fourteen and six years later she made her first demos with Quito of the group ''Señor Holmes.'' At this time she made her very first appearance on stage. In 2003, she collaborated with Anne Claverie and Édith Fambuena of the Valentins in Transmusicales de Rennes, a work for which she is very well known. She played as the support of Miossec, -M-, Bernard Lavilliers, Cali, Tryo or Lhasa. In 2011, she collaborated with fellow French musician, Ben Mazué on his single, ''C'est léger,'' from his debut album. Tryo () is a French-language 'unplugged' ska acoustic band, popular in Europe and Quebec, with three French guitarists, a percussionist, and a producer: Guizmo, Christophe Mali, Manu Eveno, Daniel "Danielito" Bravo and Bibou. Tryo are popular in France partly due to their politically charged lyrics, whilst also showing a fun side with a range of humorous songs, especially in live performances. They take a left wing stance, criticising various French politicians such as Charles Pasqua (named in corruption scandals concerning suburban low cost housing or HLM) and Jean-Marie Le Pen and world leaders (George W. Lhasa De Sela
Lhasa de Sela (September 27, 1972 – January 1, 2010), also known by the mononym Lhasa, was an American-Canadian singer-songwriter who was raised in Mexico and the United States and divided her adult life between Canada and France. Her first album, '' La Llorona'', went Platinum in Canada and brought Lhasa a Félix Award and a Juno Award. Following this success, Lhasa toured with Lilith Fair and then joined her sisters in a French circus troupe, contributing her husky voice to the musical backdrop. Bruno Caliciuri (born 28 June 1968), better known as Cali, is a French singer-songwriter. Biography Cali was born 28 June 1968 in Perpignan to an Italian father and Catalan mother. He grew up in Vernet-les-Bains. A fan of English rock and French chanson during his youth, Cali was also a keen rugby player. He played for his region and Perpignan (USAP). Inspired by a U2 concert in 1984, Cali devoted himself more to music and less to rugby. At the age of 17, Cali discovered punk music in Ireland.
