Paul Zeiller
Paul Zeiller (21 August 1658, in Reutte – 19 August 1738, in Reutte) was an Austrian painter in the Baroque style. From 1692, he had a workshop in Reutte that later became an art school. His son, Johann Jakob Zeiller and adopted son, Franz Anton Zeiller, both received their first lessons there. Life and career After his primary education, it was his original intent to become a clergyman. However, around 1675, he seems to have rejected this plan, travelling to Florence, where he became a tutor at the Medici court. He soon made the acquaintance of Livio Mehus, the court painter, who first aroused his interest in art. After some successful early efforts, he resigned from the court to devote himself entirely to painting, continuing to work with Mehus for several years. Ulrich Of Augsburg
Ulrich of Augsburg (890 – 4 July 973), sometimes spelled Uodalric or Odalrici, was Prince-Bishopric of Augsburg in Germany. He was the first saint to be canonized not by a local authority but by the Pope. Life Early years Much of the information concerning Ulrich is derived from the ''Life of St Ulrich'' written by Gerhard of Augsburg sometime between 982 and 993. Berwang is a municipality with 564 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2019) in the district of Reutte in the Austrian state of Tyrol. Aitrang
Aitrang is a municipality in the district of Ostallgäu in Bavaria in Germany. Geography Aitrang lies in the south Bavarian Region Allgäu. It encompasses districts of: Aitrang, Huttenwang, Wenglingen. Otto IV, Holy Roman Emperor
Otto IV (1175 – 19 May 1218) was the Holy Roman Emperor from 1209 until his death in 1218. Otto spent most of his early life in England and France. He was a follower of his uncle Richard the Lionheart, who made him Count of Poitou in 1196. With Richard's support, he was elected King of Germany by one faction in a disputed election in 1198, sparking ten years of civil war. The death of his rival, Philip of Swabia, in 1208 left him sole king of Germany. In 1209, Otto marched to Italy to be crowned emperor by Pope Innocent III. In 1210, he sought to unite the Kingdom of Sicily with the Empire, breaking with Innocent, who excommunicated him. He allied with England against France and took part in the alliance's defeat at Bouvines in 1214. He was abandoned by most of his supporters in 1215 and lived the rest of his life in retirement on his estates near Brunswick. He was the only German king of the Welf dynasty.
