Paul White (racing Driver)
Paul White (born April 9, 1963) is an American former professional racing driver who competed in USAC, the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series, and the ARCA Re/Max Series. Racing career White won the 2001 United States Auto Club (USAC) Silver Crown championship after winning three races that season, which came at the one mile dirt races at DuQuoin and Springfield and the Copper World Classic on asphalt at Phoenix. He continued racing in the series until 2004. Following his time in USAC, White made his debut in NASCAR in 2004, competing in six Truck Series races in the No. 13 Chevrolet Silverado for ThorSport Racing. His best finish was a 14th at Gateway. However, he finished outside the top-20 in all his other starts. Despite this, he never recorded a DNF in any of those races. Boston Reid (born December 29, 1982) is a USAC and NASCAR driver. Early life and education Reid was born in Logansport, Indiana, where his father Lynn Reid, a former Indy car chief, was the Honda Motorcycle dealer; he later moved his shop to Kokomo, Indiana. Reid is a 2001 Graduate of Taylor High School. Reid began racing at the age of seven before moving on to the World Karting Association two years later. By the time he was twelve years old, he was racing 80cc go-karts and mini-sprint cars under the tutelage of his father. Professional racing career In 1995, Reid won the Rookie of the Year division in the Mini Sprint 600cc division at Miami County Speedway. The Ohio 250 was a NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series race that was held at Mansfield Motorsports Park on Memorial Day weekend between 2004 and 2008. History The 2006 race saw 18 caution flags flown during the race, setting a series record. Dennis Setzer won the 2007 race without making a fuel stop, which took place with a 22-gallon fuel cell. This race took over seven hours to run due to three rain delays and was the final Craftsman Truck Series victory for Spears Motorsports, who ceased operations following the 2007 season. The 2008 edition was won by Donny Lia, who became the first rookie in nearly five seasons to win a Craftsman Truck Series race. The race was formerly known as the UAW/ GM Ohio 250. The Blue-Emu Maximum Pain Relief 200 is a NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race that takes place at Martinsville Speedway in the spring. In 2020, as part of schedule realignment, the fall race became the only Truck Series race at the track as NASCAR decided to give the track one Xfinity Series race instead. The Fr8Auctions 208 is a NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race held at Atlanta Motor Speedway. It was initially held from 2004 until 2012 and taken off the schedule in 2013. The race returned to the schedule in 2015 and since then has been held on the Saturday of the race weekend as a doubleheader with the track's NASCAR Xfinity Series race, the Nalley Cars 250, prior to the NASCAR Cup Series' Folds of Honor QuikTrip 500 race at the track on Sunday. The NextEra Energy 250 is the first race of the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series season at Daytona International Speedway and as of 2004 has been held under the lights. It is the Truck Series event of Speedweeks – the series of races leading up to the Daytona 500. The 2005 ARCA Re/Max Series was the 53rd season of the ARCA Racing Series, a division of the Automobile Racing Club of America (ARCA). The season was scheduled to begin on February 7, 2005, with the Advance Discount Auto Parts 200 at Daytona International Speedway, and ended with the Food World 300 at Talladega Superspeedway eight months later.
