Paul Taylor (DJ)
Paul Taylor (born 5 August 1957) is a Scottish electronic DJ and musician. Early life Taylor was born in Aberdeen, Scotland and moved to Burnley, Lancashire at the age of 13. He later studied Graphic design at Burnley Grammar School and Blackpool College. Career Angels In 1974, at the age of 16, Taylor was offered his first job as a DJ for Angels. In 1989, Taylor and his business partner, Steve Farkas, purchased Angels. Visionmasters Under the name Visionmasters, Taylor, Danny Hibrid and Tony King released " Keep on Pumpin' It" in 1991 featuring vocals from Kylie Minogue. Loveland Taylor, along with Paul Waterman and Mark Hadfield and vocalist Rachel McFarlane, formed the disco-house group Loveland in the early 1990s. Tracks such as " Let the Music (Lift You Up)", "Don't Make Me Wait", "I Need Somebody" and "The Wonder of Love" increased the group's fame during 1994-95. "Let the Music (Lift You Up)" is a song by British house music group Loveland featuring singer Rachel McFarlane, released in 1994 as their debut single. It is a cover of a song by American singer Darlene Lewis and some of the single releases also featured both versions. The Loveland version was included on their only album, ''The Wonder of Love'' (1995), and peaked at number 16 on the UK Singles Chart. ''Mixmag'' is a British electronic dance and clubbing magazine published in London. Launched in 1983 as a print magazine, it has branched into dance events, including festivals and club nights. Ibiza
Ibiza (natively and officially in ca, Eivissa, ) is a Spanish island in the Mediterranean Sea off the eastern coast of the Iberian Peninsula. It is from the city of Valencia. Sant Antoni de Portmany (, es, San Antonio Abad) or San Antonio is a town on the western coast of Ibiza. Dream FM was a 1990s pirate radio station based in Leeds, West Yorkshire, that played a diverse range of dance music and was renowned for its professional style. It first broadcast on 104.9 FM in October 1992, changing to a simulcast on 99.9 FM then settling on FM 99.9 until early 1994 when it moved to 107.8 FM and could be received throughout Yorkshire. In 1995, Dream launched a campaign to become a legal station. However, despite a petition and public support, Dream would not secure a licence and instead one was awarded to Kiss 105 Kiss 105 was a dance music radio station based in Leeds, West Yorkshire.
