Paul Moss
Paul Raymond Moss is the general manager of Media Prima network's media portal and a judge in 8TV's '' One in a Million'' singing contest. Moss was the AS A&R director of record company Positive Tone from its inception in 1994 until last year. Moss oversaw the transformation in Malaysian music that created whole new markets for English-language artistes and new genres of music. Background Before settling in Malaysia, Moss, sometimes fondly addressed as Uncle Paul, was the song writer, guitarist and musical director for international pop band Aishah and The Fan Club. The band originated in New Zealand and had five members: Paul Moss himself on guitars, Malcolm Smith on keyboards, Glenn Peters on Bass, Dave Larsen on drums and Aishah as their lead vocalist. OAG (band)
OAG, also spelled O@G, also known as Old Automatic Garbage or Orang Asia Genius (Genius Asians), is a Malaysian pop and alternative rock band. The band, formed in 1992, was one of the first English language alternative rock bands in Malaysia to get huge attention from mainstream music listeners. The current line-up of the band are Muhammad Radhi Razali (vocals) after Qi Razali (drums) left the group in early 202following by Nazrin Zabidi (bass guitar) and Ammal (lead guitar). ''Malaysian Idol'' is the Malaysian version of the Idol Series that started in UK, similar to shows such as UK's ''Pop Idol'' and ''American Idol'' in the franchise. This show is a contest to determine the best young singer in Malaysia, with the winner receiving a major record deal, although some runners-up have achieved enough fame to ink record deals of their own.
