OAG (band)
OAG, also spelled O@G, also known as Old Automatic Garbage or Orang Asia Genius (Genius Asians), is a Malaysian pop and alternative rock band. Sarawakian Malay
Sarawak Malay (Standard Malay: ''Bahasa Melayu Sarawak'' or ''Bahasa Sarawak'', Jawi: ''بهاس ملايو سراوق'', Sarawak Malay: ''Kelakar Sarawak'') is a Malayic language native to the State of Sarawak. It is a common language used by natives of Sarawak. This variant is related to Bruneian Malay, spoken in the districts of Limbang and Lawas (Sarawak) and bears strong similarities with Sanggau, Sintang and Sekadau Malay spoken in the northern part of the West Kalimantan province in Indonesia. There is some debate on whether it is a vernacular variety of Malay or a separate language altogether. It is more similar to Ibanic languages compared to the Malay dialects of Sumatra and the Malayan Peninsula, and is different enough from standard Malay that speakers outside of Sarawak are often unable to understand it without prior study.. Dialects According to Asmah Haji Omar (1993), Sarawak Malay can be divided into three dialects which are: * Kuching * Saribas * Sibu F ...

Boys & Girls 1+1=3
''Boys & Girls 1+1=3'' is a Malaysian pop/rock compilation album produced by New Zealander Paul Moss and released on January 1, 1996. Contents The songs on the album were written and/or performed in English, as part of the English-medium music scene Malaysia experienced in the 1990s, where local music was able to reach and grab the interest of international fans. The album featured a well established fand, OAG, but was primarily a debut album for several up and coming teen aged artists, like Nita, as well as some relatively unknown bands, like Nicestupidplayground, a teenage group from Sarawak, Borneo who until this album had not recorded professionally. The first and only single from the album was by Nicestupidplayground, called "Bedroom Window", and it is considered to have brought the band out of obscurity. ''Boys & Girls 1+1=3'' also marked the recording debut for punk rock all-girl trio IntoXicated, goth rock duo Brodwyn (later renamed Juliet the Orange), and for Nita, who san ...
