Paul Marc Rousseau
Paul Marc Rousseau (born March 18, 1989) is a Canadian musician who is the lead guitarist for the rock band Silverstein. Musical education Rousseau took piano lessons from his mother. In 1998, he acquired a copy of the Green Day album ''Dookie'', and enjoyed it. He asked his mother if he could play the guitar, and she bought him an acoustic instrument. He learned to play it by ear, briefly taking lessons to be able to play Green Day songs. He attended the Friday night concerts at the Burlington YMCA, hearing many local bands, some of which were successful outside the area. Rousseau had been a fan of the band Silverstein, and had been influenced by their debut album, ''When Broken Is Easily Fixed'', one of the first albums with screamo characteristics that he had heard. ''Discovering the Waterfront'' is the second studio album by Canadian post-hardcore band Silverstein. The album was promoted with three music videos for the tracks "Smile in Your Sleep", "Discovering the Waterfront", and "My Heroine". Recording ''Discovering the Waterfront'' was recorded at Capitol Studios in Hollywood, California, and Maple Sound Studios in Santa Ana, California, between March and April 2005 with producer Cameron Webb. Webb also engineered and mixed the album. Release On April 13, 2005, ''Discovering the Waterfront'' was announced for release in four months' time. ''This Is How the Wind Shifts'' is the seventh studio album by Canadian post-hardcore band Silverstein, released on February 5, 2013 through Hopeless Records. It is also their last release under Hopeless. It is the first album to not feature long time lead guitarist Neil Boshart and first to include Paul Marc Rousseau as an official member, taking over lead guitar duties. Background and recording Silverstein announced they had signed with Hopeless on November 15, 2010. Vocalist Shane Told said the band have been "huge fans of the label since their inception". A tour manager (or concert tour manager) is the person who helps to organize the administration for a schedule of appearances of a musical group (band) or artist at a sequence of venues (a concert tour). Guitar Technician
A guitar technician (or 'guitar tech') is a member of a music ensemble's road crew who maintains and sets up the musical equipment for one or more guitarists. Depending on the type and size of band, the guitar tech may be responsible for stringing, tuning, and adjusting electric guitars and acoustic guitars, and maintaining and setting up guitar amplifiers and other related electronic equipment such as effect pedals. Once the guitar equipment has been set up onstage, the guitar tech does a soundcheck to ensure that the equipment is working well. If there are any problems, the guitar tech replaces or repairs the faulty components or equipment.
