Paul Hertzog
Paul Hertzog is an American film composer and educator. In his brief career in the late 1980s and early 1990s, Hertzog composed the soundtracks for two Jean-Claude Van Damme movies, '' Kickboxer'' and ''Bloodsport'', as well as the scores for ''Breathing Fire'' and '' My Chauffeur''. Hertzog was a teacher at Hart High School in Santa Clarita, California, where he taught English and Music Theory. After a nearly twenty-year hiatus, Hertzog released a CD titled ''Freeing the Waters'' in 2009. It consisted of previously unreleased tracks written during his years as a film composer. Early in 2015, Hertzog released a CD of new music, reminiscent of his work in "Bloodsport" and "Kickboxer," titled "Waking the Dragon." He composed, performed and recorded this latest CD. The Last Kumite
''The Last Kumite'' is an upcoming German–American martial arts film directed by Ross W. Clarkson, starring Mathis Landwehr and Matthias Hues. It is a revival of underground fighting programmers of the 1980s and early 1990s, such as those released by Cannon Films, Seasonal Films and Imperial Entertainment. Much of the film's supporting cast and some of its creative personnel have ties to that era, including veteran performers Cynthia Rothrock, Billy Blanks, Kurt McKinney, and brothers Mohammed "Michel" Qissi and Abdel Qissi. Michael Bishop (bassist)
Michael "Mike" Bishop (born September 7, 1968) is an American bassist and vocalist and a member of the heavy metal band GWAR. Life and career He attended Thomas Dale High School in Chester, Virginia. Most notably, he was the bass guitarist and, after a 20-year hiatus, is currently the lead vocalist for the American heavy metal band Gwar. Bishop's first band was the Hopewell, VA-based hardcore outfit The Guilty. As a member of Gwar, he was the first to play the role of "Beefcake the Mighty". The name of Beefcake was taken from Bishop's nickname during his punk years. Bishop was the bassist and lead vocalist for Kepone from 1991 through the band's breakup in 1997. Stan Bush (born July 10, 1953) is an American singer-songwriter and rock musician. He is perhaps best-known for his song " The Touch", featured in the 1986 movie '' The Transformers: The Movie''. Career Bush began with his first studio album in 1979 with a band called Boulder. Bush was primarily a guitarist for that band before the group split in different directions after releasing only one self-titled album. Jean-Claude Camille François Van Varenberg (, ; born 18 October 1960), known professionally as Jean-Claude Van Damme (, ), is a Belgian actor, martial artist, filmmaker, and fight choreographer. Santa Clarita Valley
The Santa Clarita Valley (SCV) is part of the upper watershed of the Santa Clara River in Southern California. The valley was part of the Rancho San Francisco Mexican land grant.
