Patti McCarty
Lois Patricia McCarty (February 11, 1921 - July 7, 1985) was an American actress. Biography Baker was born in Bakersfield, California, and grew up in Healdsburg. She graduated from Covina High School in Covina, California, and she attended Los Angeles City College. Prior to becoming a film actress, McCarty was a secretary for actress Dorothy Lamour. Lamour helped her to obtain a bit part in the film ''Chad Hanna'' (1940). In January 1941, McCarty began working for Columbia Pictures, but in August of that year, the studio declined to take up the option on her contract. From 1941 through 1946 she was a Hollywood B movie actress and performed bit parts in 23 films. She died on July 7, 1985, in Honolulu, Hawaii, at the age of 64. Covina High School, commonly known as Covina High or CHS to the students, is a public high school located in Covina, California. Covina High School is one of three comprehensive high schools within the Covina-Valley Unified School District. Established in 1897, Covina High is the first and oldest high school in the school district and is accredited by Western Association of Schools and Colleges. There were approximately 1,650 students enrolled for the 2010–11 school year. Covina High School is one of the oldest establishments in Covina. Its original campus, Covina Union High School, was located off of S. Citrus Ave and W. Puente St. and was opened in 1897, just a few years before Covina became an incorporated city. ''Rustlers' Hideout'' is a 1944 American Western film directed by Sam Newfield. In 1940 Crabbe had followed and replaced Bob Steele in the role of Billy the Kid in a series of B-Westerns. After 19 films as Billy, the character was renamed Billy Carson with seemingly no other changes to the series. He even kept his sidekick (Al St. John) from the "Kid" films. ''Fuzzy Settles Down'' is a 1944 American Western film directed by Sam Newfield. Plot Two cowboys, Fuzzy Jones and Billy Carson, catch a pair of bank robbers; and then are endowed with the reward money. In the town of Red Rock the local newspaper editor John Martin is shot in the back and killed for his opposition of local outlaws attempting to steal the townsfolk's land.
