Patrick Rodgers (born June 30, 1992) is an American professional golfer who plays on the PGA Tour. Early life Rodgers was born in Avon, Indiana. Then he played golf at Avon High School for 4 years. He played college golf at Stanford University, for three years, where he won 11 times, tying the record set by Tiger Woods. Rodgers was given the Ben Hogan Award and was the number one ranked golfer in the World Amateur Golf Ranking for 16 weeks in early 2014. Professional career After turning professional in June 2014, Rodgers played on the PGA Tour via sponsor's exemptions. He earned enough non-member FedEx Cup points to qualify for the Web.com Tour Finals. He finished T-8 at the Nationwide Children's Hospital Championship. Avon, Indiana
Avon is a town in Washington Township, Hendricks County, Indiana, United States. The population was 21,474 at the 2020 census. It is part of the Indianapolis metropolitan area. Russell Knox (born 21 June 1985) is a Scottish professional golfer who plays on the PGA Tour. He had considerable success from 2014 to 2016 during which time he won the 2015 WGC-HSBC Champions and the 2016 Travelers Championship. Stephen Paul Marino, Jr. (born March 10, 1980) is an American professional golfer who plays on the PGA Tour. Western Junior
The Western Junior is the oldest national junior golf tournament in the United States. It was founded in 1914 and is organized by the Western Golf Association. It is played at a different course each year, primarily in the midwest. From 1914 to 1998, it was played with stroke play qualifying followed by a match play championship. Since 1999, it has been a 72-hole stroke play tournament. The championship was first played in 1914 at Chicago Golf Club in Wheaton, Illinois and was won by Charles Grimes. The Western Junior draws the top junior players from more than 40 states and internationally each year. The field is limited to 156 entrants. Exemptions into the Western Amateur are awarded to the top three finishers and ties. The John Deere Classic is a professional golf tournament on the PGA Tour. It is played annually in July, usually the week before The Open Championship, at TPC Deere Run in the Quad Cities community of Silvis, Illinois.
