Patricia Lake
Patricia Douras Van Cleve (June 8, 1919 – October 3, 1993), known as Patricia Lake, was an American actress and radio comedian. Presented as the niece of actress Marion Davies, she was long suspected of being her natural daughter, fathered by publishing magnate William Randolph Hearst. Lake acknowledged this relationship shortly before she died. Parentage She was born in a hospital outside Paris, France. Her date of birth is not known; according to her ''Los Angeles Times'' obituary, "The year was sometime between 1920 and 1923; Lake never knew exactly." A home movie is a short amateur film or video typically made just to preserve a visual record of family activities, a vacation, or a special event, and intended for viewing at home by family and friends. Originally, home movies were made on photographic film in formats that usually limited the movie-maker to about three minutes per roll of costly camera film. The vast majority of amateur film formats lacked audio, shooting silent film. The 1970s saw the advent of consumer camcorders that could record an hour or two of video on one relatively inexpensive videocassette which also had audio and did not need to be developed the way film did. ''Blondie'' is a radio situation comedy adapted from the long-running '' Blondie'' comic strip by Chic Young. It stars Arthur Lake as Dagwood Bumstead and, for the majority of its run, Penny Singleton as Blondie Bumstead. The radio program ran on several networks from 1939 to 1950. Penny Singleton
Penny Singleton (born Mariana Dorothy McNulty, September 15, 1908 – November 12, 2003) was an American actress, singer, dancer and labor leader. During her 60-year career on stage, screen, radio and television, Singleton appeared as the comic-strip heroine Blondie (comic strip), Blondie Bumstead in a Blondie (1938 film), series of 28 motion pictures from 1938 until 1950 and the popular ''Blondie (radio), Blondie'' radio program from 1939 until 1950. Singleton also provided the voice of Jane Jetson in the animated series ''The Jetsons'' from 1962 to 1963. ''The Daily Record'' is an American daily newspaper published in Ellensburg, Washington. The ''Record'' is published four days a week with an afternoon edition each Tuesday through Thursday and a weekend edition is delivered on Saturday mornings. The paper's current estimated circulation is 6,000 copies per day. This newspaper is a successor to the ''Kittitas County Localizer'', first published on July 12, 1883. After the official founding of the town of Ellensburg, that paper became the ''Ellensburg Localizer''. On July 1, 1909, the paper, now under the ownership of William S. Zimmerman and J.C. Hearst Castle, known formally as La Cuesta Encantada (Spanish for "The Enchanted Hill"), is a historic estate in San Simeon, located on the Central Coast of California. Gloria May Josephine Swanson (March 27, 1899April 4, 1983) was an American actress and producer.
