The 12309 / 12310 Rajendra Nagar-New Delhi ''Tejas Rajdhani Express'' is a Semi-High Speed Fully AC Train that connects Patna with and Delhi. History This Train was originally introduced in the Annual Railway Budget of 1996–97 as a daily Rajdhani Express from New Delhi to Patna via Lucknow. Later it was rerouted to run via Prayagraj. In 1997, the pantry car service was introduced. From 1st September 2021, the train LHB Rajdhani Rakes are replaced with LHB Tejas Sleeper Rakes. Service It runs daily. The Tejas-Rajdhani Express is a semi-high-speed train operated in India. Indian Railways started to upgrade Rajdhani coaches to Tejas coaches. This replaced its traditional LHB Rajdhani coaches. By using Tejas smart coach, Indian Railways aims to move to predictive maintenance instead of preventive maintenance. This also increases to maximum speed to and top operating speed to . LHB Coach
Linke Hofmann Busch (LHB) coach is a passenger coach of Indian Railways that is developed by Linke-Hofmann-Busch of Germany (renamed Alstom LHB GmbH in 1998 after the takeover by Alstom and now known as Alstom Transport Deutschland) and mostly produced by Rail Coach Factory in Kapurthala, India. They have been used since 2000 on the broad gauge network of Indian railways. Initially, 24 air conditioned coaches were imported from Germany for use in the Shatabdi Expresses, after which the Rail Coach Factory started manufacturing after technology transfer.
