Pat Woodcock
Patrick Ian Woodcock (born April 27, 1977) is a former Canadian football wide receiver. Woodcock attended American College at Syracuse University between 1997 and 2000 and he attended Holy Trinity Catholic High School (Kanata), Holy Trinity Catholic High School, which is located in Kanata, Ontario. He was signed as a free agent by the New York Giants of the National Football League in 2001 and made two appearances on special teams, returning six kickoffs for 113 yards and two punts for 16 yards, but was released in Week 3. He was then signed by the Montreal Alouettes of the CFL where he went on to win a Grey Cup with them in 2002. In 2003, he was signed by the Washington Redskins of the NFL but was released by them, and he was then re-signed by the Alouettes. He was signed by the Ottawa Renegades in 2004 CFL season, 2004. The 105th Grey Cup was played on November 26, 2017, between the Calgary Stampeders and the Toronto Argonauts at TD Place Stadium in Ottawa, Ontario. In a re-match of the 100th Grey Cup, the Argonauts won the game 27–24, winning their 17th championship. The 90th Grey Cup was the 2002 Canadian Football League championship game played between the Edmonton Eskimos and the Montreal Alouettes on November 24 at Commonwealth Stadium, in Edmonton, Alberta. The Alouettes defeated the Eskimos 25–16 in the first all-Canadian CFL championship game to feature the host team since 1983. It was Don Matthews' fifth Grey Cup title as a head coach, tying him with Lew Hayman, Frank Clair and Hugh Campbell for the all-time record. A dispersal draft is a process in professional sports for assigning players to a new team when their current team ceases to exist or is merged with another team. Like most other sports drafts, most dispersal drafts are conducted in North America. 2006 CFL Season
The 2006 CFL season is considered to be the 53rd season in modern-day Canadian football, although it is officially the 49th Canadian Football League season.
