Pat LaCroix
Patrick "Pat" LaCroix (born 1938) is a Canadian musician and photographer. Early life and education LaCroix attended the Westlake College of Music in Los Angeles. Career While at college La Croix was part of The Four Winds vocal quartet with fellow student Gordon Lightfoot. He was a founding member of the folk band The Colonials, with Denny Doherty, Richard Byrne and Zal Yanovsky; the band later became The Halifax III. This group recorded two LP albums for Epic records in New York and performed on several national TV show in Canada and the US, including Sing Along With Mitch and The Merv Griffin Show. The Halifax III
The Halifax Three (or The Halifax III), originally The Colonials, was a folk music band in Canada in the 1960s. The band performed in Toronto and Montreal before becoming part of the New York folk scene and recording an album. History Denny Doherty, Pat LaCroix and Richard Byrne formed The Colonials in 1960 in Halifax NS where they hosted a CBC TV program. After performing in Toronto and Montreal, the band changed its name to The Halifax Three in 1963, and, with the addition of Toronto born Zal Yanovsky, toured with The Journeymen and played Carnegie Hall in New York City. Lisa LaCroix
Lisa LaCroix is a Canadian actress and fashion model who began her career in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. After training as an actor in New York City's Circle in the Square Theatre School, she returned to Toronto, and starred in numerous Canadian and American television shows and movies. In 1996, she moved to Los Angeles to focus on American television acting. In 2000, LaCroix became interested in the Human Potential Movement, studied to be a business coach, moved to the San Francisco Bay Area and began a private practice training and coaching business people in 2001. "San Francisco Bay Blues" is an American folk song and is generally considered to be the most famous composition by Jesse Fuller. Fuller first recorded the song in 1954, which was released by the World Song label in 1955. A "one-man band" rendition of the song featuring a kazoo solo was recorded by Fuller during a 1962 concert. Wizard is a German power metal band, formed in 1989 by the drummer Sören "Snoppi" van Heek. The band was often called "Germany's answer to Manowar". Mitchell William Miller (July 4, 1911 – July 31, 2010) was an American choral conductor, record producer, record-industry executive, and professional oboist. He was involved in almost all aspects of the industry, particularly as a conductor and artists and repertoire (A&R) man.
