Pasir Ris–Punggol Group Representation Constituency
The Pasir Ris–Punggol Group Representation Constituency was a five-member Group Representation Constituency (GRC) in the north-eastern and eastern regions of Singapore. At abolition, the constituency consisted of Pasir Ris and parts of the Punggol town area, comprising 5 wards: Pasir Ris Central, Pasir Ris East, Pasir Ris West, Punggol Shore as well as Punggol Coast managed by Pasir Ris—Punggol Town Council. History Its first contest happened in 2006 with the opponent being Singapore Democratic Alliance. For the 2011 general election, the incumbent People's Action Party announced that their team would be led by Teo Chee Hean, and include then-Senior Parliamentary Secretary Teo Ser Luck, Penny Low, as well as new candidates Janil Puthucheary, Gan Thiam Poh and Zainal Sapari. Penny Low
Penny Low ( zh, s=刘钅梦琳, p=Liú Mènglín; born 12 June 1967) is a Singaporean businesswoman and former politician. A member of the People's Action Party (PAP), she was the Member of Parliament (MP) for the Pasir Ris–Punggol Group Representation Constituency, Pasir Ris–Punggol GRC for Punggol North from 25 October 2001 to 11 September 2015. She pioneered various movements and founded various enterprises and Nonprofit organization, not-profit organisations like the Social Innovation Park and the Social Enterprise Association. The East Coast Group Representation Constituency is a five-member Group Representation Constituency (GRC) in the eastern area of Singapore. It consists of locations such as East Coast Park, Bedok, Changi (in part), Simei, Siglap, Joo Chiat and Chai Chee.A large portion of Singapore's eastern territorial waters also belongs to the GRC. The Tampines Group Representation Constituency is a five-member Group Representation Constituency (GRC) in the eastern region of Singapore. } (born 8 August 1968) is a Singaporean politician, union leader and former lieutenant-general who has been serving as Secretary-General of the National Trades Union Congress (NTUC) since 2018 and as a Member of Parliament (MP) for Jalan Kayu Single Member Constituency (SMC) since 2025. General elections were held in Singapore on Friday, 11 September 2015 to elect 89 members of Parliament.
