Partille Arena
Partille Arena is a multi-purpose indoor arena that was inaugurated in September 2016. The arena holds 5,500 people during concerts and 4,000 during sporting events. The arena also holds a gym, bowling alley, restaurant and conference rooms. Events and tenants Since the arena's inauguration, it has hosted a number of events, such as P3 Guld, Sweden's biggest music awards. In 2018, a new audience record was set when Bryan Adams played in front of 5,503 people. The event management is operated by the municipality of Partille and the arena holds a number of tenants, one of which is IK Sävehof, a handball club from Partille. IK Sävehof is one of the biggest handball clubs in the world and has both a women's and men's team in the highest respective leagues in Sweden. Eurovision Choir 2019
Eurovision Choir 2019 was the second Eurovision Choir competition for Choir, choral singers, organised by the European Broadcasting Union (EBU) and Interkultur. It was held on 3 August 2019, at the Partille Arena, in Partille Municipality, Metropolitan Gothenburg, Sweden. The event, presented by Petroc Trelawny and Ella Petersson, was produced by Swedish host broadcaster Sveriges Television (SVT) together with an international team of EBU members, the European Choir Games and the City of Gothenburg. Arena Riga ( lv, Arēna Rīga) is an indoor arena in Riga, Latvia. It is primarily used for ice hockey, basketball and concerts. Arena Riga holds a maximum of 14,500 and was opened on 15 February 2006. It was built to be used as one of the venues for the 2006 IIHF World Championship, the other being Skonto Arena. Eurovision Choir (formerly Eurovision Choir of the Year) is choir, choral competition organised by the European Broadcasting Union (EBU) and the and modeled after the latter's World Choir Games. Partille Municipality (''Partille kommun'') is a municipality in Västra Götaland County in western Sweden. Its seat is located in Partille, which constitutes a part of the contiguously built-up Gothenburg urban area. The municipality is by area one of the smallest in Sweden with only 59.35 km². The parish Partille was made a rural municipality, when the first local government acts came into force in 1863. Territorially it has not been affected by the nationwide municipal reforms carried out during the 20th century. It has retained its area, but it has developed into a suburb of Gothenburg.
