Parnaíba
Parnaíba () is a city in the Brazilian state of Piauí. Having a population of over 150,000 inhabitants according to IBGE's 2020 report, it is the second most populous city in the state, after the capital Teresina. It is one of the four coastal municipalities in Piauí (besides Ilha Grande, Luís Correia, and Cajueiro da Praia). Besides the natural environment, Parnaíba has historical value for Piauí; near Porto das Barcas several historic buildings reflect the importance of Parnaíba, coming at that time to be more important than the former capital Oeiras and taking up same references in Europe. Parnaíba River
The Parnaíba River ( pt, Rio Parnaíba) is a river in Brazil, which forms the border between the states of Maranhão and Piauí. Piauí
Piaui (, ) is one of the states of Brazil, located in the country's Northeast Region. The state has 1.6% of the Brazilian population and produces 0.7% of the Brazilian GDP. Piaui has the shortest coastline of any coastal Brazilian state at 66 km (41 mi), and the capital, Teresina, is the only state capital in the northeast to be located inland. Teresina
Teresina is the capital and most populous municipality in the Brazilian state of Piauí. Being located in north-central Piauí 366 km from the coast, it is the only capital in the Brazilian Northeast that is not located on the shores of the Atlantic Ocean. With 871,126 inhabitants, Teresina is the 21st largest city in Brazil, and the 15th largest state capital in the country. Parnahyba Sport Club, commonly known as Parnahyba, is a Brazilian football club based in Parnaíba, Piauí state. They competed in the Copa do Brasil three times and in the Campeonato Brasileiro Série C once. Parnahyba is currently ranked fifth among Piauí teams in CBF's national club ranking, at 215th place overall. History The club was founded on May 1, 1913. Parnahyba won the Campeonato Piauiense in 2004, 2005, and in 2006.
