Parminder Singh Dhull
Parminder Singh Dhull (born 4 March 1957) is an Indian politician of the State of Haryana, India. He remained as Member of Legislative Assembly of Haryana from Julana constituency of Jind District till he resigned as such on 25 June 2019. He contested on Bhartiya Janta Party ticket in 2019 Haryana Assembly Elections but failed to retain his seat. He resigned from Bhartiya Janta Party on 20 October 2020 in protest of the Farmers Bills introduced by Government of India. His father Chaudhary Dal Singh was a former minister and a freedom fighter. Early career Parminder Singh Dhull lost by a narrow margin in first election contested by him in 1991. Later career Dhull bagged the INLD party ticket for the 2009 assembly elections and won by a record margin of nearly 13000 votes from Julana, a constituency that borders Rohtak district and Kiloi, the constituency represented by the then Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda. Jind District
Jind district is one of the 22 districts of Haryana state in northern India. Jind town is the administrative headquarters of the district. It is part of Hisar Division and was created in 1966. During the Sikh Empire, Jind lies in the heart of Haryana and is the fourth district of the Jat belt along with Sonipat, Rohtak and Hissar. Etymology The district derives its name from its headquarters town Jind that is said to be derived from ''Jaintapuri''. It is also said that this town had been founded at the time of the Mahabharata. Rohtak
Rohtak () is a city and the administrative headquarters of the Rohtak district in the Indian state of Haryana. It lies north-west of New Delhi and south of the state capital Chandigarh on NH 9(old NH 10). Rohtak forms a part of the National Capital Region (NCR) which helps the city in obtaining cheap loans for infrastructure development from the NCR Planning Board. Indian National Lok Dal (INLD) is a political party in India, in the state of Haryana. INLD was founded in October 1996 as Haryana Lok Dal (Rashtriya) by Choudhary Devi Lal, who served as Deputy Prime Minister of India in the V.P. Singh's Cabinet and Chief Minister of Haryana twice. His son Om Prakash Chautala is the President. Former Leader of Opposition, Abhay Singh Chautala is Secretary General of INLD. Bhupinder Singh Hooda
Bhupinder Singh Hooda (born 15 September 1947) is an Indian National Congress politician who is the current Leader of the Opposition in Haryana Legislative Assembly. He also served as the Chief Minister of Haryana from 2005 to 2014. When he began a second term in 2009 Haryana Legislative Assembly election, October 2009 after leading the Indian National Congress, Congress to an election victory, it was the first time since 1972 that a Haryana electorate returned a ruling party back to power.
