Park End, Middlesbrough
Park End is an area in the borough of Middlesbrough, North Yorkshire, England. It is near Berwick Hills and Ormesby. It is in the TS3 postcode district. The population of the Park End ward, at the 2011 Census, was 6,254. In May 2015 the ward boundaries changed, the new Park End and Beckfield ward replacing the old ward in name. The ward is in the Middlesbrough constituency, the former ward was in the Middlesbrough South and East Cleveland constituency. Schools There are two primary schools in Park End. Park End Primary School Park End Primary school is much larger than the average-sized primary school. Almost all pupils are of ''White British'' heritage. The proportion of pupils known to be eligible extra funding because they come from low-income households is well-above average. Middlesbrough (borough)
The Borough of Middlesbrough is a borough with unitary authority status in North Yorkshire, England, based around the town of Middlesbrough in the north of the county. It is in the Tees Valley mayoralty along with Stockton-on-Tees, Redcar and Cleveland, Hartlepool and Darlington boroughs. Nunthorpe along with Stainton and Thornton have statutory parish councils. History From the county's creation in 1889 (from the historic subdivision of Yorkshire) areas under Middlesbrough's governance remained part of North Riding of Yorkshire county for varing amounts of self-governance. Ormesby is an area which is split between Borough of Middlesbrough and Borough of Redcar and Cleveland in North Yorkshire, England. It is in the Middlesbrough part of the Teesside built up area. Spencer Beck to the east and the B1380 road to the south form the boundary of Redcar and Cleveland with Middlesbrough's borough. Middlesbrough is a parliamentary constituency in the United Kingdom, recreated in 1974, and represented since 2012 in the House of Commons of the UK Parliament by Andy McDonald from the Labour Party. An earlier version of the seat existed between 1868 and 1918.
