Pardini Arms is an Italian firearms manufacturer founded in the beginning of the 1980s by Giampiero Pardini, a prominent marksman in Italian target shooting. The company specializes in firearms for competition use, producing air pistols, air rifles, small-caliber and large caliber handguns. Their pistols are known for their characteristic swept-back grips and low bore axis. The Pardini GT9 is a semi-automatic pistol chambered in 9×21mm or 9×19mm Parabellum, depending on the market. A muzzle brake or recoil compensator is a device connected to, or a feature integral to the construction of, the muzzle or barrel of a firearm or cannon that is intended to redirect a portion of propellant gases to counter recoil and unwanted muzzle rise. Barrels with an integral muzzle brake are often said to be ported. The concept of a muzzle brake was first introduced for artillery.
