Paras Nath Rajwade (born 19 August 1962) is an Indian politician, he is MLA of Bhatgaon, Chhattisgarh from The Indian National Congress. On 14 July 2020, he became Parliamentary secretary, appointed by Government of Chhattisgarh. Political career In the year 2013, he became an MLA in the Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly for the first time from Bhatgaon (Vidhan Sabha constituency). Surajpur District
Surajpur district is a district in the state of Chhattisgarh in central India, with its administrative headquarters at Surajpur. National Highway 43 passes through Surajpur district. Surajpur was declared a district on 15 August 2011 by the state former Chief Minister Dr. Raman Singh along with eight other new districts. Surajpur is the first district to receive National Satyan Maitra Literacy Award. The district is known for its market (economical and quality product) and other major tourist places of Chhattisgarh with Tamor Pingla Wildlife Sanctuary. The Chhattisgarh Vidhan Sabha or the Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly is the unicameral state legislature of Chhattisgarh state in India. The seat of the Vidhan Sabha is at Raipur, the capital of the state. 2013 Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly Election
Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly election 2013 was held in two phases on 11 and 19 November in Chhattisgarh state of India. The result was announced on 8 December. Incumbent ruling party BJP and Chief Minister Raman Singh retained the majority in assembly and formed government consequently for the third time. Polls Voter-verified paper audit trail (VVPAT) along with EVMs was used in 1 assembly seat in Chhattisgarh elections. The first phase in the Naxal-affected areas of Bastar, consisting 18 constituencies, voted on 11 November and had a 75.53% voter turnout.
