It is a side channel that connects the Madeira River (via the short Paraná do Canumã) and Amazonas River (via Paraná do Ramos). Amazonas () is a state of Brazil, located in the North Region in the northwestern corner of the country. Canumã River
Canumã River ( pt, Rio Canumã) is a river in the Amazonas state in north-western Brazil. It is located east of the Madeira River and runs roughly parallel to it. It flows into the Paraná Urariá shortly before merging into the Madeira River (the short channel between Canumã River/Paraná Urariá and the Madeira River is known as the Paraná do Canumã). Abacaxis River
The Abacaxis River is a river in the Amazonas state in north-western Brazil. It is located east of the Madeira River and these two are connected via the Paraná Urariá. Amazonas River

Urariá Sustainable Development Reserve
The Urariá Sustainable Development Reserve ( pt, Reserva de Desenvolvimento Sustentável Urariá) is a sustainable development reserve in the state of Amazonas, Brazil.
