Paranur railway station is one of the railway stations of the Chennai Beach–Chengalpattu section of the Chennai Suburban Railway Network. It is situated at a distance of 55 km south of Chennai Beach terminus and has an elevation of 42 m above sea level. It serves the neighbourhood of Paranur and the Mahindra World City at New Chennai. Tirusulam is a neighbourhood in Chennai, India. For administrative purposes, it is a census town in Chennai.
