Parakh is a 1978 Pakistani Urdu film directed by Jan Mohammad Jumman. It starred Waheed Murad, Rani, Qavi, and Asif Khan in the lead cast. Jan Mohammad
Jan Muhammad (Urdu:;1943–2002) was a Pakistani film director. He created more than 30 feature films. Early life Jan was born and brought up in Karachi. He got his early education from St Patrick's High School, Karachi, Pakistan and went to D. J. Science College for his bachelor's degree. He joined Pakistan film industry in 1967 as an assistant cameraman. Jan Mohammad received higher training in cinematography from Belgium and France and also took ''Agfa Gaevert'' Cinematographer's Course in England. Directing career Waheed Murad and Shamim Ara starrer film ''Salgira'' (1969), was his first film as an independent cinematographer followed by the film, ''Chand Suraj'' (1970) and a number of other films by reputed film makers like Rangeela. Saqi (actor)
Abdul Latif Baloch, better known by his screen name Saqi (2 April 1925 – 22 December 1986), was a Pakistani film and television actor. He is known for mostly playing supportive roles in Lollywood movies. He starred in more than 500 Urdu, Punjabi, Sindhi, and Pashto films. Early life and family Saqi was born on April 2, 1925, in Baghdad, Iraq, where his father had been appointed during the first world war and later stayed there for a while as a railway employee. Saqi belonged to a Baloch family settled in Dadu District, Sindh. His mother was a Kurd from Iraq. His step-brother ''Abdul Karim Baloch'' served as a general manager at PTV, Karachi Center. The Nigar Awards ( ur, , translit=Inʿām Negār, lit=Picture Awards) were presented in an annual award show to recognize outstanding achievement in Pakistani cinema. The honors are awarded by Nigar Magazine founded in 1948. The Nigar Awards are Pakistan's version of the Academy Awards. The annual presentation ceremony features performances by prominent artists. ''Ghulam Abbas'' (born 1 January 1955 ) is a Pakistani radio, television, and film singer. He is known for his ghazals, geets, and playback singing for Urdu and Punjabi movies.
